Step into our historic space.

We’re an independent neighbourhood restaurant and cocktail club, housed inside one of Bristol’s most iconic landmark buildings, right in the heart of the historic harbourside. We’re a stone’s throw from the buzz of King Street and Queen Square.

Our walls have many stories to tell. From being the location of one of British TV’s most beloved Only Fools and Horses scenes, to hosting many famous artists and bands such as Thin Lizzy, Dire Straights and Phil Collins in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Reviews & Awards

Having heard about the great buffet on Sunday lunch I decided to give it a try for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Lots of choice of all sorts of food, freshly baked bread. Yum! And a few desserts at the end to round it all off including my favourite - lemon posset. Highly recommended.

We had a simple but delicious breakfast on Sunday morning in this stunning building. No rush and relaxed service was just what we needed. Sadly we'd eaten our meals before I took any photos but do enjoy the pics of inside and outside We'll come back for cocktails in the evening next time in the basement with it's iconic bar ("Play it nice and cool").

Went here with a friend and we both had an amazing meal, only dropped the food to 4 stars as my friends steak was over salted, otherwise it was great. The staff were also lovely, really attentive and friendly, just what you want.
